Dennis “Dennie” McEntire, 70, of Noblesville left this world on Christmas Day 2016 to celebrate face-to-face the birth of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a long 20-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. A true first-year Boomer born shortly after the end of the Second World War, he was a star athlete who discovered his idealism and purpose in life at college in the 1960s and never let it go. He worked as an Employment Specialist, finding jobs for and providing assistance to individuals society deemed unemployable. He believed in the inherent goodness of his fellow man, cared very little for material possessions, and shared his impassioned beliefs with anyone who would listen, up to and including an expressed desire not to have to live through a single day of the Trump presidency. Dennis is survived by his son, Grant (Carmen) McEntire; sister, Anne (Steve) West; two granddaughters, Cadence and Gabby; and nephew, Joey Carey.
A Celebration of Dennie’s Life will be held on January 7th, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. at First Christian Church in Noblesville located at 16377 Herriman Blvd. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Dennie’s honor to the First Christian Church to help support their community outreach.

Tony Craig says
As a young teenager then he was one of my first role models. He was a man of outstanding character in a good spirit. He was A caregiver, confidant, and supporter to my great grandmother and grandfather. I am saddened by his passing and it was an honor to have known him – Tony
